Monthly Favorites | September 2017

How is September over? Honestly, this year is flying by! I'm so excited for October! I love Fall! The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler! I love Autumn so much! I took the photo above in October a couple of years ago. I thought it was fitting since September is the beginning of fall. I loved September! Here are my favourites!

BEAUTY

Rimmel London Matte Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 107

I adore this lipstick! It's a beautiful berry! It is quite possibly my favourite lipstick! The formula is not dry but is still a beautifully matte! The shade is beautiful!

LORAC Pro Lip Color in Mulberry (with Rimmel 107)

This was a LE colour from LOARC for Christmas for the past 2 years. I really love it. A shade close to it in the original line is called Merlot. The formula is a little dry so I use it as a lip liner. The first time I was going to wear it I was going to wear it alone, but after discovering it was dry I popped Rimmel 107 over it and I was obsessed with it. The combo is amazing!

MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo

I love Ruby Woo! It is such a beautiful classic red! The formula isn't dry and is wears very well! I can't wait to get more MAC lipstick!

Essie Nail Color in Shearling Darling

This colour is perfect for fall! I have been loving it! I wish it last for a little longer. It chipped in about 2 or 3 days. But the colour makes it worth it. I think I'm going to try a new base and topcoat and see if it last longer.

Sinful Colors Nail Color in Black on Black & Endless Blue

I adore Sinful Colors! I discovered them after Influenster sent me a bottle to test out back in May. I wasn't a fan of the shade they sent but fell in love with the formula. So I've started a Sinful Colors collection.

Black on Black is black obviously. And Endless Blue is a beautiful electric cobalt blue. I love them both so much! The formula lasts forever! I've seen it last without a chip for 7 days! I use 3 coats without any base or top coat and it lasts forever.

LORAC Pro To Go Palette

I have had this palette for quite a while. I recently started using the shadows more and I love them! The cocoa brown and gold shades are amazing!

TV SHOWS

Game of Thrones

Hulu is having an HBO Free Preview weekend! I was so excited to finally watch Game of Thrones. I've been hearing everyone rave about it for years! I finally got to watch it! I'm actually watching it while writing this. I have until the 2nd to finish all 7 seasons. I doubt I'll finish it but I'm so excited to finally watch it! Even if I don't get to see it all.

Law & Order: SVU

I actually watched SVU every week years ago. For some reason, I was allowed to watch it when I was 6 or 7. I haven't watched it in years. After catching a few episodes on ION I decided to watch it again. Netflix only had season 14 and up.

I skipped to season 16 because 14 started with a previous story and I thought I'd be lost. I fell in love with it all over again. I discovered Hulu has every episode so I'm about to start on a very long binge of the whole series.

The Orville

The Orville is Seth MacFarlane's Star Trek. It is really good! I am a big Trek fan. Seth is too. You can really see it on the show! I love the storyline. Captain Ed just divorced his wife after finding her in bed with an alien. After being given command of a ship he finds his first commander to be his ex-wife. It's great! It has a great mix of humour and seriousness and takes on some big issues. It's 4 episodes in and is already so good!

BOOKS

Paper Towns by John Green

John never ceases to impress! I read this book in 9 hours. I just couldn't put it down. I was the same with Fault in Our Stars. I only put it down because I needed to sleep. Paper Towns was so good! I adored Q! He was so sweet! I was very surprised by the ending. But I wasn't at the same time. I was reading a John Green book. What did I expect?

AUTUMN!

I love autumn! And everything that goes along with it! The boots, the jumpers, the beanies, the scarves, the weather, the hayrides, the pumpkin patches, the hot drinks. Halloween! What is there not to love? I'm so excited for Autumn to finally be here!

I'm so excited for October! Bring on the full blow Autumn feels and Halloween!

What did you love in September? What should I try in October? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks so much for reading this post! I hope you enjoyed it! Please leave a like if you did, it's much appreciated!
